Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)

No Fear Counselling is committed to being a trusted and compassionate therapy service provider for Canadian veterans. Our mission is to help veterans overcome mental health challenges and achieve their full potential.

Services

At No Fear Counselling, we understand the unique struggles that veterans face, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. That’s why we provide specialized therapy services tailored to meet the needs of veterans, all through Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC).

Our team of qualified therapists are passionate about helping veterans, and we offer a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Our therapists work with veterans to identify their specific needs and goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.

Veterans Affairs Canada Coverage

No Fear Counselling is proud to be a registered service provider with Veteran Affairs Canada. This means that veterans can access our therapy services through VAC benefits, including the Veterans Affairs Canada Treatment Benefit (VAC TB) and the Veterans Affairs Canada Rehabilitation Program (VAC RP).

Our therapists are knowledgeable about the VAC system and can help veterans navigate the process of accessing these benefits. We believe that all veterans should have access to high-quality mental health services, and we work hard to make sure that our services are accessible and affordable.

If you’re a Canadian veteran, you may be eligible for counselling funding through VAC. When you contact us, please provide us with your ID number and we will apply for the funding on your behalf. See below to find out where your ID number is. You can also call VAF at 1-866-522-2122 if you do not know your number and they can assist you in obtaining it.

The length of therapy can vary depending on the individual and the nature of their mental health challenges. Some people may only need a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. Our therapists work collaboratively with veterans to determine the best course of treatment for their needs.
