Ann is completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is a writer, published author, avid traveller, and former health care professional with a MA in Creative Writing and an honours BA in Anthropology. She has also raised five girls.
Ann believes each individual is unique and holds untapped inner strength and resilience. She is here to help you discover these through the therapeutic modality best suited to your unique situation, needs, and values. She will work collaboratively with you using the skills of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), or Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) as appropriate to your situation. Ann has a wealth of life experience and understands the many challenges individuals face in life, enriching her ability to bring empathy, compassion and insight into her therapeutic relationships. She provides a safe, comfortable space for sharing, for individuals from all diverse walks of life.
In her spare time Ann enjoys family, travelling, regular swimming and gym visits, the outdoors, and animals, especially her dog, Emma.
