Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) to join our collaborative team on a contract full-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clientele while contributing to the development of engaging content and promoting mental health awareness for Canadians.
About You:
As a forward-thinking Counsellor, you will provide evidence-based treatment to clients, both in-person at our Ontario locations and online. You should possess a deep understanding of gender-specific issues and be comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, you should be proactive in creating content to promote our services and advocate for mental health awareness across genders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for men and women.
• Deliver structured counselling interventions for adults with mild to moderate mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues from both clinics to ensure the highest standard of care and treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing evaluation processes.
• Contribute to the development of educational resources and promotional materials for both clinics.
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Counselling or a related field.
• Certification with the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in a community setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
