The framework for this collaborative approach is through a variety of modalities that include, Psychoanalytic Theory/ Depth Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused, CBT, Mindfulness and Attachment Oriented approaches.
Charles recognizes the uniqueness of each person’s experience and strives to create a safe space, where a collaborative therapeutic relationship can evolve and clients can receive unconditional support. Charles believes that as children we can adopt behaviours to get our physical and emotional needs met in-order to survive those situations that were not optimum for us to grow, thrive, play and be at rest. As adults we may see the world through distorted lenses and continue to replicate early experiences that now leave us feeling sick, depressed, alone and challenge our relationships with self and others.
Charles intention is to assist his clients integrate challenging experiences and assist his clients in seeing their stories differently and helping them to write the next chapters of their lives from a place of resiliency, hope and optimism
