Mehmet Yaygin

(Cathedral Square)

Mehmet Yaygin, MA, RCC, is a registered Clinical Counsellor with The British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. He holds a Master of Counselling degree from Adler University (Vancouver campus).

He has spent over a decade working in the corporate world before transitioning into the realm of psychology. His understanding of the painful path of human soul comes from his real life experience in life; both through his academic pursuit as well as his journey of self-discovery.

Mehmet understands that counselling can be a challenging process and that sometimes people put it off for years. Whatever you are going through, divorce, bankruptcy, depression, grief, Mehmet is committed to be right alongside, motivating, and listening.

The main modalities that Mehmet uses are Somatic Experiencing and Family Systems. The emphasis of the depth work is to go to the root causes of problems rather than managing the cognitive symptoms.
