Namita is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Surrey, BC with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University. She practices from a trauma-informed lens to provide safe and empathic space for her clients throughout their journey of self-empowerment and self-discovery. She provides counselling in English, Hindi and Punjabi. She works with adolescents and adults and the therapy she offers helps alleviate painful experiences like depression, anxiety, trauma, loneliness, grief & loss, and relationship issues.
She has a diverse and holistic approach to treatment by dedicating time to learning and understanding all aspects of a person’s life. She has a specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Based Somatic Therapy (MBST).
She believes that people are remarkably resilient and have an innate capacity for self-healing. She welcomes the opportunity to stand by her client’s side through this journey.
