Sila (she/her) completed her bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology and a minor in learning and developmental disabilities at Simon Fraser University. She worked as an autism service provider and respite worker during her studies and did various volunteer works. Currently, Sila is working as a clinical intern counsellor, completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University. She is also volunteering at the Crisis Centre of BC as a volunteer crisis services responder.

Sila values being inclusive and cultivates a culture of compassionate curiosity in her sessions. Sila seeks to provide a non-judgemental and safe space for her clients to promote positive changes. Sila works collaboratively with her clients and create a plan that is tailored to clients’ unique needs. By offering a flexible approach in her sessions regardless of the modality and often with a dose of humour, Sila targets clients’ concerns, help them uncover their strengths and achieve their goals. Sila believes that therapeutic connection and support can help anyone to heal, grow and transform.
